Cisco's 8900 and 9900 series IP Phones are a line of phones with VGA screens similar to the older 7900 series phones. The benefits of the 8900 and 9900 series phones over the 7900 series phones are:
- Improved handset cradle. The handset sits more securely in the cradle now.
- Optional built in video
- Optional Bluetooth and USB for head sets
- Physical buttons for call transfer/conference/hold
What are missing are softkeys and a reduced number of lines.
